This was intended to be a two-month driving trip through Italy and Greece. I thought that we would get accustomed to driving in Europe for a few weeks in towns and villages that we had been to before, then drive to the south of Italy and work our way over to the east coast to catch a ferry to Greece. Once there we would see a bit of the Greek Peloponnese, cruise the Greek Islands, then head home from Athens.

But I got sick in Sorrento and had to cancel the greek part of the trip, return to Rome and fly home from there. Here are photos from the Italian potion.

A few years later I was informed by my doctor in Collingwood that I had pneumonia while in Italy. They figured this out not from the Italian medical reports but from the drugs that were prescribed.
